The project consisted of two distinct portions of work:

Path of Travel:

The exterior portions of the site will require Path of Travel ADA upgrades to meet current code requirements. This scope encompassed the entire Path of Travel for the entire property.

Rooms Renovation:

The 187-room renovation included but was not limited to demolition, new construction, plumbing, electrical, carpet, tile, paint, furniture and fixtures. New construction includes new walls within existing rooms and patch and repair of existing walls. There was no new construction that added square feet to the existing facility. The project was 100% renovation.

Care was taken to understand how the construction documents complement each other. The architectural drawings indicate typical demolition and new hard construction, pathing and repairing for work in other trades as well as detailing for finish work as required by the interior design drawings included in the drawing set and specifications.

The interior design drawings indicate the extent of new fixtures and finish work. Coordination with the architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings will be required for exact placement of new work and relocation of existing elements to guarantee the new work is consistent with the new design as indicated in the interior design drawings. These drawings also show the placement of the FF&E items which was also the responsibility of the general contractor to install.
