This Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) project focused on the relocation of the SRJC Foundation building from its existing location, which would be demolished to accommodate for a new student housing project. Strata AP was requested to review a property on Elliot Street to re-use for the new Foundation building. After extensive review it was determined the existing house would not be financially feasible to renovate for the change from Residential to Business use.

The SRJC Foundation provides scholarships, continuing education and research opportunities for students and faculty, and funds for instructional equipment and program needs to support the future workforce. With the specific needs of the Foundation in mind, Strata AP conducted a new space analysis once a site was identified evaluating building placement and fit. The new building consists of offices, a breakroom, restrooms, and a conference room. The main entrance is located off the parking lot and includes a nicely landscaped buffer along the Elliot Street frontage of the site.
