Speckle Rock Winery and Hospitality Center is located in Escondido, California. Strata AP provided complete Use Permit documentation that included Master Planning, Surveying, Septic Analysis, Wildlife Habitat Studies, schematic building design modeling and lighting/acoustic studies.

Seated atop the ridgeline, the Hospitality Veranda provides expansive views across the San Pasqual Valley.  Terraced patios provide expansive views across the valley. The exterior is characterized by colored concrete walls built into the hills with glass facades open to the views.

The Production Building is nestled into the steep hillside allowing the four-story structure a traditional gravity-assisted program for winemaking with the Fermentation Room and Crush Pad housed above and the Barrel Storage Rooms contained within a concrete underground cave.

While both the Production Building and Hospitality Building have been designed to enhance the visitor’s experience, the structures focus attention outward to the landscape and surrounding horizon.

The 10,000 sf Production Facility includes 4 level gravity processing with barrel storage cave, lab, tasting deck, crush pad, worker housing and integral photovoltaic solar panels.

The 5,000 sf Hospitality Center includes tasting rooms, outdoor entertainment and event space, and a private tasting pavilion.
